Bike Shed

Probably the most iconic and trend-setting moto café in the UK, The Bike Shed sits right in the heart of Shoreditch, London. This was one of the very first moto cafés I ever visited, and it’s an absolute must for any biker passing through the city.

Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a few drinks, The Bike Shed delivers. There’s secure parking available on the premises, making it an easy stop in the city. Grab a seat outside and enjoy the constant parade of motorcycles rolling past the terrace — a spectacle that never gets old for true bike lovers.

Facilities: 5/5

The Bike Shed offers polished, well-thought-out facilities that feel both premium and purpose-built for bikers. The space is large, stylish, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of seating spread across indoor and outdoor areas. Everything feels intentional — from the industrial design to the attention to detail throughout the venue. Toilets are clean, modern, and well maintained, which only adds to the overall high-end feel of the place.

Ambience: 5/5

The atmosphere at The Bike Shed is outstanding. It brings together an eclectic mix of riders, creatives, locals, and visitors, all drawn together by a shared love of motorcycles and good vibes. There’s a strong sense of community, but with a distinctly urban, Shoreditch edge. Sitting outside, you’re treated to a constant flow of bikes coming and going, which adds to the energy and makes it a fantastic spot for people-watching and soaking up motorcycle culture.

Food: 4/5

The food at The Bike Shed is a step above your average moto café. The menu is varied, well-executed, and clearly designed to appeal to more than just hungry riders. While it may not rival fine dining, the quality is solid and consistently enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably sit down for a proper meal rather than just a quick bite, making it ideal for longer stays.

Service: 4/5

Service is friendly, relaxed, and professional. Staff are attentive without being overbearing, and everything runs smoothly even when the place gets busy. While it’s not overly formal, the level of service fits the venue perfectly and contributes to the laid-back yet refined atmosphere.

Parking: 5/5

Parking at The Bike Shed is excellent, especially considering its central London location. Secure on-site motorcycle parking makes it an easy and stress-free stop for riders, allowing you to enjoy the venue without worrying about your bike.
